I have a few (okay, a lot of) words to share about
my experiences here. Micfo
was the fourth hosting company I've dealt with
over the last 5 years, and I have to say, it's
been the most satisfying experience to
date.
I found them at web hosting forums along with
about a dozen others. After picking the top 3
based on price, space, bandwidth, extras, and
my personal needs, I e-mailed each of those 3
companies a handful of questions. I went with
Micfo because their responses were fast,
helpful, and it always felt like I was
speaking to a real person. It's such a
turn off to get a support reply with fragmented
sentences and unpunctuated/uncapitalized words,
so Micfo won my business hands down.
I've almost been here two years, and my support
requests are always handled lightning fast.
And I have to say that tech support, which usually
takes the longest to reply at other hosts, is
the fastest I've ever seen at Micfo. I often have
an answer to my question within the hour, sometimes
much quicker, and I've never even put in an "urgent"
request.
The staff has even gone above and beyond by reinstalling
a script that got wiped out by a freelance programmer.
I fully expected to have to pay for this service,
but I was really surprised how willing they were
to help.
By years end, I'll be trained to completely run
my own server, but I don't think I want to bother
taking over the reins when I've got it so good
here. I signed up in 2004, and my website will
not even officially launch until sometime in 2006,
and in that time, the smallest Micfo package has
been perfect for me to add, tweak, and slowly
perfect my website until I'm ready to move up
my hosting package for my website launch.
So, to anyone who's on the fence, I think you'll
be happy with the service they provide here at
Micfo. If anyone out there would like to ask a
